Adam is the Eastern Executive Mobilization Officer for Perspectives. He serves on the Exec Team and with Regional Directors on the East Coast. His passion is infusing a clarity in vision to the expansion of the Kingdom of God in people’s hearts.

Melissa shares the leadership of the Perspectives Southeast Region with Adam. Her passion is to see people find their place in God's global mission.

2016 Family Update

2016 has been a wonderful year. We have had a great year with Perspectives, lots of fun traveling around and lots of fun at home. We are getting more involved in our church, The Summit, with serving and championing an adoption and orphan care ministry. We have also had fun serving at Awanas. Noriah has been keeping us busy with her many activities and endless energy. We are thankful for the blessings that God has given us and the struggles that have helped us grow. Below are some highlights from our year.

Homeschool

Noriah officially started Kindergarten this fall and we have made it through the first semester with everyone still alive! It really has been a joy to watch her learn and grow. She loves learning and creating new "inventions". She's learning to read and gets really excited when she spots sight words or words she can sound out. This year she is taking a hip-hop class, Awanas, and volunteers at a Horse rescue. She is also learning to play the Ukulele and loves to sing. Its been a great semester and we are looking forward to the rest of the school year.

We bought a house!
Since we moved back from California we have been living with Melissa's parents. It has been a great arrangement and Noriah loves spending so much time with her grandparents. Earlier this year we decided to make the arrangement permanent. For all of us to stay in their home we need a little more room. So we bought the house from Melissa's parents and no one had to move. Our hope is to build on to the existing home this coming year.

Adoption
We are planning another adoption! Just this month we are turning in all our paper work to Bethany Christian Services. Noriah is very excited about the possibility of getting a baby sister and she says she will tolerate a baby brother. We will rejoice over whatever the Lord brings into our family. Please pray for us often as this can be a very taxing process.

We have a separate email chain for adoption updates. We'll keep the Hoffman Holla' more ministry focused so if you are interested in tracking with our adoption journey you'll need to be added to that group: either email us or update your profile and add yourself from the adoption group.
We are excited as we look ahead to 2017 and what God has in store. We are thankful for your support and prayers for our ministry and our family.

What is Perspectives?

Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God's global purpose.

The Biblical and Historical sections reveal why our confidence is based on the historic fact of God's relentless work from the dawn of history until this day.

The Cultural and Strategic sections underscore that we are in the midst of a costly, but very "do-able" task, confirming the Biblical and Historical hope.
