This was one of the first goals we set when we became RDs for the southeast. It is a big goal, but we serve a big God and He is moving. We dont want to expand the Perspectives program just to be bigger and do more but we know that this class changes people. Every one of those 50 classes represents 30-50 students who will hear about God's heart for the nations and how He wants to use them to expand His kingdom. Research has shown that after Perspectives, 61% students give more to missions, 23% get more involved with local international communities, and 19% go overseas for 6 months or more. What all of those numbers really mean is that people groups who don't have access to the gospel currently will someday be able to worship their creator. In the end it's all about the Glory of God. When we dream bigger them seems possible there will be no confusion that God is the one working.

The practical side of this vision is that to multiple the perspectives program in the Southeast we need to train a lot of coordinators. Several times a year we host a training called Perspectives Coordinator Workshops (PCW). Last weekend we had one of these trainings here in Raleigh. 10 people attended representing 8 different classes. We had a great weekend going over all the vision and logistics starting and running a Perspectives course. We are praying that all of these new coordinators will run successful classes that hopefully raise up more people to become coordinators so we can keep the multiplication going. We have another PCW to launch a Tallahassee FL class in February, as well as two to three more trainings May-June 2016.
Pray with us for 50 classes in 2020! God can do it and more. Lets pray and be amazed together.
