2016 was our first full year as the Southeast Perspectives Regional Directors (RDs). It has been a crazy journey and God has done amazing works this year. We wanted to give you our annual report as a way for us to celebrate together all that God has done. So as you read this, use the information as a prompt to Praise God for what He has done and to pray for all that is ahead.

Here is a more extensive explination of the infographic above.
PCW (Perspective Coordinator Workshop)
The PCW is the main event for RDs. If we did one thing really well to be successful it would be the quality of the PCW and the number of coordinators trained in a given year. In 2015, we guesstimated that 25 people a year would need to attend a PCW to reach 50 classes by 2020. Our next planning cycle will need to factor the success of the number of people attending PCWs. In 2015, there were 56 PCW trainees in 4 different events. This year we held five events with at least 74 trainees.* That's a massive 32% increase over 2015 and 300% of our original annual goal.
*The final PCW event is Dec. 2-3 in Atlanta; we are still taking registrations so year end totals are not finalized.
Number of Students
The number of students we have in Perspectives classes is a good quantitative measurement of the fruit God has produced from the Mobilization by Education offered by Perspectives. We are pleased to see that still over 1,000 students have gone through the course in the last annual year. Our region makes up about 1/9 of the students in the USA. We pray as a nation that we will see over 10,000 students enrolled annually.
If previous involvement surveys hold true, here is some further fruit we can estimate from the 1042 students:
- 688 people will pray more for missionaries.
- 240 people will increase their involvement with the international community at home.
- 219 people will increase their recruitment of others to the mission of God.
- 281 people will increase their giving to the local church and 636 people will increase their giving to mission agencies.
Number of Classes
We are asking God for 50 classes in the Southeast by 2020. We've seen him lead out in launching classes that we've simply identified as wanting to have. 32 classes in 2016 puts us on track to reach the 50 classes goal. We hope to continue the upward trend. If the 28% annual increase held true (exponential increase), there would be 86 classes in 2020. From 2015 to 2020 we needed a 15% consistent annual increase to reach 50 classes.
32 classes total in 2016 means that 32 communities had an opportunity of fantastic mobilization. Our heart is that mobilization would be readily accessible to communities in the Southeast - which drives our desire to increase the number of classes. The map shows where the 2016 classes were - and includes some geographical gaps for God to overcome.
