Picture: First Night of Perspectives RDU Class
The month of August served as a transition into a new season of life for us. Melissa and I (Adam) celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We began to slow our travel down to a normalized pace.
We transitioned our daughter from the pool every day into a Kindergarten at home. She seems to be enjoying this. We transitioned focus from planning and implementing the National Conference to walking out the mission, vision, values discussed (more to come in the next few months on these statements). We transitioned into launching Fall 2016 classes, including the local RDU class that Melissa and I are coordinating. Lastly we began transitioning into a planning season for the Spring 2017 semester. This season includes three teaching opportunities and two training events.
After a hectic Spring semester which included too much travel, we are happy to slow down and focus our energy in targeted areas: investing in leaders to grow class quality and grow the number of classes in the region. All of this leads towards more people mobilized to the unreached - our key prayer for the region.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for the 8 Fall classes launching in the Southeast this August.
- Pray for the 28 hopeful classes for the Spring 2017 semester.
- Pray for our leadership of Perspectives to the coordinators and 11 staff on our regional team.
- Pray specifically for the Raleigh-Durham class that Melissa and I are coordinating this Fall.
For His Glory in All the Earth!
