Last newsletter we celebrated the Swarms of local volunteers who coordinate Perspectives and make it happen on the ground. Now we want to celebrate those who have come alongside of us and joined the Southeast Regional Team as volunteers.

When Melissa and I came into this role just over a year ago, knowing that God wanted to expand the number of classes and continue to improve the quality of classes - we saw a hole of personnel capacity. This was confirmed as we mapped out a SWOT analysis, goals and strategic plan for the future.

We have now raised up 11 new Regional Team members: two Regional Administrators who form our executive team, 5 teams of Area Mobilizers who localize our role within a smaller geography, and a couple who coaches and consults on issues of recruitment and education. This team is like layers of a spider web, growing strong enough to accomplish big things.

We are incredibly indebted to the Southeast Regional team expanding the capacity of the work.

Last month we concluded our third and final training for the Spring semester. These events are a highlight of our year. We love building relationships with the future coordinators and laying a foundation of a good working relationship. We enjoy teaching - so two full days of training is right up our ally. Strategically, these events prepare for the fruit of new classes by training up the leadership. The Pensacola PCW largely served the Florida panhandle area as up to six classes could be launched in the next two years out of this event. Praise God.


Prayer Requests

• Pray for the upcoming Perspectives National Conference mid July. Pray for fruitful time together and pray for Melissa in her role of hospitality lead.
• Pray for recruitment in Fall classes
• Pray specifically for the Raleigh-Durham class that Melissa and I are coordinating this Fall
• Pray for our conversations with Spring coordinators finishing the Spring semester - for vision for the future and continued classes.
• Pray that these activities enhance the mobilization movement in the Southeast.
