I was going to find a stock image of a team but instead of something generic this is what you get when I write this while still in the National Championship glow.
TEAM: New Southeast Area Mobilizer: Birmingham AL
As we develop further in our role, we continue to see the strategic value of having a longterm local vision caster and organizer for an area. We call these leaders Area Mobilizers with the intention that all Perspectives volunteer/staff see their primary role in Perspectives as mobilization.
Birmingham AL is a metro area highly saturated with churches, with a number of them being the largest in America. We have great partnerships with churches and great local leaders. Now we have a local person to coordinate the efforts and accelerate the mobilization of Birmingham. Kerra Anthony joins our team as the newest Area Mobilizer, and is finishing her onboarding process. She comes to us as a passionate alumni skilled in this work with experience in church partnership with a partner organization called
Mountain Child.
We are thrilled to have Kerra join us and look forward to seeing the fruit from her effort.
TEAM Gathering April 21-23
One of the aspects of team we are looking forward to is gathering face-to-face in N. GA in three weeks. This will be the first time we all (but one couple) will be together in person. We look forward to hearing from one another, enjoying one another's company and working toward strategic planning for the region. Since we value relationships in ministry to such a high degree we value our people and look forward to being together.
Made for More
The Perspectives TEAM has refreshed the marketing campaign with "Made for More". This design ties in our individual longing to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We want to say that God's grand redemption narrative of all peoples is a calling for all of us. We are all made for more than just our working to increase lifestyle comforts; instead, we can join God's mission - many of us without a job change or relocation. Perspectives opens the doors to the possibilities of engagement.
